Sally Freeman LLB (UEA)


Sally Freeman worked in advertising in London and in broadcasting as a producer/director before returning to full time study in 1991 to read law at the University of East Anglia. She was called to the Bar in 1995.

She is a Levett Scholar (Lincoln's Inn) and is a member of our specialist Family Team.

She has a general practice throughout the region, including occasional visits to the High Court and the Principal Registry. She is instructed in all areas of family work including public law proceedings for local authorities, parents and Children's Guardians, private law proceedings including financial orders and applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 in respect of co-habitation disputes.

 

Sally is a trained family mediator.

 

She is also actively involved with the Bar Council's Speakers For Schools initiative, which entails talking to students at schools and universities about life at the Bar.

 

Sally is also one of chambers pupil supervisors.
