Here are the people who keep chambers running smoothly : our clerks and administrators.
Our clerking team, led by Fraser McLaren, are your first point of contact. They negotiate fees, ensure that briefs and instructions are delivered and returned in timely fashion, and that the right barrister is in the right court, on the right side, and at the right time.
Our administrator, Carol Bull, is responsible for finance and the preparation and implementation of business plans, monitors our management systems, negotiates contracts, ensures that we pay our bills and comply with our professional practice obligations – while making it all seem terribly easy.
Our fees clerk, Theresa Mathias, works relentlessly to ensure that fees are paid in as timely a fashion as possible. If there is a particular problem with outstanding fees for a case she is your point of contact.
