Another experienced family lawyer joins chambers

We are delighted to announce that Darren Watts, currently of 1 Gray’s Inn Square, will soon be joining us.

Darren initially worked as a solicitor-advocate (Higher Rights – Civil Proceedings) for six years, both in independent practice and for Essex County Council, and was a member of the Law Society Children Panel. Transferring to the Bar in 2005 he practised family law from Tanfield Chambers in London before moving to 1 Gray’s Inn Square.

Operating mainly in south Essex and Hertfordshire, Darren will continue to serve existing clients and new ones from our Chelmsford premises at 140 New London Road. With considerable experience in supporting local authorities in their child protection work, he is also able to assist parents and other family members and is qualified to accept work on a public access basis.
