William was Called to the Bar in 2023 by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, as a Bedingfield Scholar. William read history and politics at the University of Cambridge before completing both the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Bar Professional Training Course at City, University of London, where he graduated with a Distinction.
William joined chambers as a tenant in October 2024 and accepts instructions on civil, family and criminal matters. Civil law instructions include fast track and small claims trials, RTAs, personal injury, landlord and tenant, and debt claims. Family law instructions that William accepts include child arrangements and non-molestation/occupation orders. His criminal law instructions encompass regulatory work and motoring offences.
Before joining chambers William volunteered at the School Exclusion Project as a representative, where he appeared on behalf of parents whose children had been permanently excluded from school.
