William joined chambers as a tenant in October 2024. He has developed expertise across all of Chambers’ core practice areas and accepts instructions on civil and family matters.
Civil Law
Civil law instructions William accepts include fast track and small claims trials, RTAs, personal injury, landlord and tenant and insolvency matters including both corporate and personal insolvency. William has also been involved in a range of commercial disputes involving issues of contract, economic torts, and company law. William has a growing paperwork practice and provides advice and pleadings on general civil matters.
Family Law
Family law instructions that William accepts include financial remedy proceedings, disputes under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996, private children law proceedings and applications brought under the Family Law Act 1996.
William was Called to the Bar in 2023 by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, as a Bedingfield Scholar. Prior to joining chambers, William read History and Politics at the University of Cambridge before completing both the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Bar Professional Training Course at City, University of London, where he graduated with a Distinction in both courses.
