Our pupil Lucy Barnes to speak at 4th April ARU Chelmsford Law Symposium

Join our pupil barrister Lucy Barnes at ARU Chelmsford’s 4th April 2025 Law Symposium themed ‘Lawyers as a voice for the vulnerable’ from 12-5pm. Lucy will be speaking on the power of advocacy, mentoring and championship/allyship for minority groups, as well as how for her care-experienced community, access to the profession is access to justice. Her talk is titled ‘Lawyers as a voice with the vulnerable: making a difference inside and outside of court.’
Lucy will be joined by a fantastic line-up of speakers including Dr Laura Janes, Karen Dovaston and Julie Moktadir. There will be networking drinks after. The Symposium poster can be viewed here.
