Louise Mantell-Sayer

Louise specialises in private and public family law, which is complemented by her work in financial remedy proceedings.

Family

Louise undertakes work in all areas of family Law including both public and private proceedings and finance.  She appears in Courts of all levels, including the High Court, where she has been instructed in matters concerning Deprivation of Liberty and inherent jurisdiction.

She is regularly instructed by Local Authorities, parents and Guardians with a particular emphasis on complex cases involving children.  She also acts for wider family members in relation to Special Guardians or contact disputes involving grandchildren.

With an approachable manner Louise is able to put clients at ease quickly in particularly stressful times whilst giving clear and realistic advice.  She often represents vulnerable clients during fact findings and final hearings where she understands that clients are able to give their best evidence and instructions when they feel most supported.

In respect of finance Louise deals with all aspects of financial remedy and is able to assist clients from the beginning to end of their case whether it be FDA, FDR, Final Hearing or a conference.

SEND

Louise is also a strong member of East Anglian Chambers SEND Team who is regularly instructed in relation to appeals and this compliments her Local Authority public law work in particular.

When not in Court Louise is usually found chasing her young children around trying to fit in some Pilates.
